2026 UTICA BOYS FUNDAMENTAL BASKETBALL CAMP

Purpose of the Camp:
The purpose of this camp is to teach and emphasize the importance of fundamental basketball skills. Each participant will receive instruction in both individual and team concepts on offense and defense. All aspects of the game will be taught and practiced daily, including shooting, rebounding, ball handling, and defensive techniques. Campers will also learn the value of understanding the rules of the game and demonstrating good sportsmanship.

Staff:
The camp is directed by Dave Hinkle and supported by current and former Chieftain players and coaches. A low camper-to-instructor ratio ensures personalized instruction and a high-quality learning experience.

What to Bring:
All campers should arrive on the first day fully prepared to participate, wearing appropriate athletic shoes, t-shirts, and shorts.

Please Note:

• Classes will not take place on half-days or holidays.
• In the event of a schedule change or class cancellation, the Enrichment team will notify families as soon as possible.
• Classes that do not meet the minimum enrollment requirement will be canceled two business days prior to the start date. Participants will be notified, and a full refund will be issued.
• We encourage early registration and recommend that participants invite peers to join to help avoid cancellations!
• All classes are offered at a flat rate and are not subject to proration.
